12 Week Behavioral & Development Board and Train Program

For Puppies | Behavioral Dogs of All Ages | 12-Week Duration | Vaccinations Required

Our 12-Week Behavioral & Development Board & Train Program is designed for dogs that need additional time to build engagement, confidence, and emotional stability in addition to obedience training.

This extended program allows us to address behavioral challenges while developing a calm, reliable dog that can respond consistently in real-world environments.

Training is led by Lead Trainer Hilary Weber, with additional structured training sessions conducted by Trainer Bret Weber. Dogs intentionally work with multiple handlers to help build reliable responses with different people.

Detailed information about our training philosophy, methods, and commands taught can be found on our Training & Evaluation page.

Best Fit for This Program

This program is recommended for dogs that need additional development or behavioral work, including:

• Low food motivation or low engagement
• Dog reactivity
• Fearfulness or confidence issues
• Anxiety or difficulty settling
• Resource guarding tendencies
• Puppies needing potty training or early development

The longer timeline allows us to build engagement and stability first, then progress into structured obedience and real-world reliability.

Please Note: All programs, course structures, pricing, and services are subject to change at any time to further enhance the success and improvement of the training and services we provide. Our commitment to excellence means we are always evolving to best meet the needs of our clients and their dogs.

Note For Dogs with Aggression or Reactivity:  For dogs with behavioral issues such as reactivity, fear-based aggression, anxiety, or other challenges, our Board & Train Program provides a comprehensive, structured approach to help manage these behaviors. We focus on desensitizing your dog to their specific triggers, gradually exposing them to situations that would typically cause distress or aggressive responses. Through consistent, controlled exposure, we work to reduce the intensity of their reactions over time.

Additionally, we teach your dog to redirect their focus away from triggers and onto you or their handler, promoting calmness and self-control. A key part of this process is building your dog’s confidence so they learn to trust that you have the situation under control, which can significantly reduce their stress in challenging environments.

While we work diligently to address these behaviors, it’s important to understand that long-standing or deeply ingrained behaviors may never fully disappear. Our goal is to provide you with the tools, training, and strategies needed to manage and reduce these behaviors effectively. However, this training does not guarantee a completely “worry-free” dog.

As a responsible owner, it is crucial to remain vigilant, especially when managing dogs with aggressive tendencies. Ongoing supervision, proactive management, and advocating for your dog’s needs are essential to prevent potential incidents and ensure the safety of your dog, other animals, and people. Our training will support you in this journey, but continued effort, awareness, and responsibility are key to long-term success.

Thank you!
