Dog Vaccination & Age Policy
At Unleashed Pet Services, the health, safety and well being of every dog in our care is our highest priority. Because dogs are housed, handled, and trained in shared environments, and in the case of board and train, may be taken into multiple training areas and public settings. We maintain strict age and vaccination requirements to reduce the risk of illness and protect all canine guests.
Minimum Age Requirement:
All dogs boarding or participating in training services at Unleashed Pet Services must be a minimum of 16 weeks of age at time of arrival.
This minimum age ensures puppies have had sufficient time to complete their full vaccination series and develop appropriate immune protection before entering a boarding or training environment.
Required Vaccinations:
All dogs must be fully vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian for the following:
1. Rabies
2. Distemper
3. Parvovirus
4. Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
All required vaccinations must be fully completed, and no booster doses may be outstanding at time of arrival. We ask that at least 48 hours have passed since vaccination doses were given before boarding, for puppies. Dogs with upcoming booster appointments or vaccinations scheduled during their stay are not eligible to board or participate in services.
Puppies:
Puppies are eligible for boarding or training services only after:

Reaching 16 weeks of age, and

Completing the full vaccination series for all required vaccines, including all booster doses.
This policy is especially important for board and train programs, which involve extended stays, increased handling, exposure to multiple environments, and, in some cases, public training settings.
Puppies who are still mid-vaccination series or awaiting booster doses will not be accepted until all requirements are fully met.
Out of State Dogs:
Dogs traveling from out of state are welcome at Unleashed Pet Services but must provide a valid veterinary certificate confirming that all required vaccinations are fully completed with no boosters remaining.
Requirements for Vaccination Records:
All provided vaccination records must have the following:

Clinic Name, address, and phone number shown clearly on vaccination page.

Expiration and/or Due dates
Records must be provided prior to check in. We do not accept paper copies, records can be emailed, text, or uploaded directly to your account on Kennel Booker.
Vaccination Records:
Owners are responsible for providing current, complete, accurate vaccination records from a licensed veterinarian before their dog's stay or services begin. Records must clearly demonstrate that all age and vaccination requirements have been met.
Maintaining Vaccinations:
It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure their dog remains up to date on all required vaccinations. Updated records must be provided if vaccinations are renewed or updated.
Exceptions:
No vaccination exemptions are accepted. If a dog is younger than 16 weeks and has fully completed all vaccinations including all boosters, they can board or enroll in services at Unleashed Pet Services. Dogs that do not meet the minimum age requirement or that have not fully completed all required vaccinations, including booster doses, cannot be boarded or enrolled in training services at Unleashed Pet Services.
